Fred's Teaser Picks offers two NFL betting products designed to work together. The Teaser Playbook is a one-time PDF download that teaches you the math behind NFL teaser bets and explains why certain payout amounts offer a statistical edge. The Playbook provides three pieces of information not available on public websites: payout information for commonly used sportsbooks, the best strategy for teasers combining 3 or more games, and advice about how many teaser bets to place each weekend. The Weekly Teaser Picks put that strategy into action: every week during the NFL regular season, Fred's identifies which teams qualify under the system and delivers the picks to your inbox before kickoff. Together, Fred's Playbook and Weekly Picks give disciplined bettors a systematic approach to NFL teaser wagering.

The links to purchase these two products are at the bottom of this page. We suggest you first read the advisories below to understand how the system works.

How It Works & What to Expect
Consumer Risk & Refunds

Wagering on sports is risky. There is no guarantee of success, and each customer takes full responsibility for placing his or her own bets. Past performance does not guarantee future success. Fred's Teaser Picks provides recommendations but bears no responsibility if the picks do not work out. There will be no refunds for purchasing the Playbook, and there is a 3-day refund window (from the purchase date) for those who purchase the Weekly Picks. No other refunds will be made, unless there are operational problems on Fred's side that prevent us from delivering our service to our customers.

Schedule & Scope

The Weekly Picks cover the NFL regular season only. Picks are sent by Saturday at 6 PM Eastern, covering the Sunday afternoon, evening, and Monday Night Football games — all in one email so you can combine the recommended picks into one or more teaser wagers.

Thursday, Friday, and Sunday morning international games (London, Munich, etc.) are not part of the system. No playoff picks — the data the system relies on is not a good fit for postseason matchups.

Fred's analysis applies exclusively to betting lines on individual NFL teams (point spreads used in teaser wagers). It does not apply to parlays, NFL total scores (over/under), NFL player props, college football games, or any other sport.

Number of Picks

The number of Weekly Picks delivered to subscribers will vary from week to week — some weeks the system flags 10 or 11 teams, some weeks closer to 3 or 4. The system does not endorse every single game or team each week. The discipline to bet only on Fred's Weekly Picks is part of the success of the system. If you'd rather see a pick on every game every week, Fred's isn't the right service for you.

Confidentiality

Fred's picks are confidential. We expect — and strongly suggest — that you will not reveal the weekly picks to anyone else. The more widely distributed the picks, the more likely it is that the sportsbooks will adjust the lines to remove our advantage. It's in your interest to respect the confidentiality of these picks.

Consistently Inconsistent

The system's results will not be uniform across every week of the season. The system will have ups and downs over the year. Also, Week 1 has historically been weaker — opening-week lines are noisy with no current-season data to anchor them. Fred will still send Week 1 picks when the system flags qualifying teams, but consider betting smaller amounts on Week 1 selections than you would on a typical mid-season week.

Losing Streaks

The system will almost certainly have losing streaks. In 2025, for example, Fred's lost money in 6 straight weeks — yet still won handsomely for the full year. Part of the system's success is that the amount won in winning weeks tends to be greater than the amount lost in losing weeks. To maximize your chances of success, I recommend placing wagers every single week of the season.

Payment

Fred's accepts one-time payments for the Playbook and Weekly Picks each season. If you subscribe this year, you will not be automatically enrolled for the next year. You can cancel anytime and Fred's will stop sending emails — but there will be no refunds (after the 3-day window expires) if you cancel, unless there are operational problems that prevent us from delivering our service.

Independence

Fred's Teaser Picks is an independent entity not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League, any NFL team, or any sportsbook. "NFL" is a registered trademark of the National Football League; it is used here only to identify the relevant league, teams and games.
